Certification is valid for 2 years after course completion.

I’m a healthcare provider, what class do I need?

Basic Life Support (BLS) is for healthcare providers who work in a clinical setting. For lay-rescuers and those not in health related fields, Heartsaver® is appropriate.

Is Save-A-Life, Inc. an accredited organization?

Yes we are an authorized American Heart Association Training Site. The CPR training certification card you receive will be from the American Heart Association.

Is there a minimum number of students required for a class?

No. We can and will teach classes for any number of students. Contact us for details.

Do I need to purchase a book?

Books are required for healthcare providers who take the professional level CPR training. Textbooks can be purchased conveniently through Save-A-Life, Inc. or through the American Heart Association at Shopcpr.heart.org

Do you offer online classes?

We offer American Heart Association (AHA) online courses with in-person skills testing. This blended learning option gives students the flexibility to complete the coursework online at their own place and convenience. Students will then work with Save-A-Life, Inc. for hands on skills test and receive an AHA certification card from Save-A-Life Inc.

How large of a space is needed for a class?

A space large enough to comfortable seat the number of students attending and for the instructor to present the material. Instruction is media based with skills practice on manikins. We can be flexible and adjust to most spaces.
