Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) requires all Illinois child care providers who serve low income families through the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) have child health and safety training, specifically CPR/First Aid certification.
Note: Updated Illinois standard requires face-to-face learning. Online or eLearning training is no longer in compliance with the standard.

- Medical and injury emergencies
- Environmental emergencies (optional additional module)
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for all age groups (infant, child, adult)
- Heimlich Maneuver
