This course will educate the rescuer on three core modules with an optional fourth.

• Medical Emergencies

• Injury Emergencies

• Environmental Emergencies (Optional)

The modules teach the public how to manage illness and injuries in the critical first few minutes
before professional help arrives. Although the course may be used to teach First Aid to all lay
rescuers, it is specifically designed for lay rescuers who are required to obtain a course completion card, a credential documenting completion of a First Aid course
